Janice

Hi! I am Janice Speer, the Nurse Practitioner, Owner, CEO, President, and Queen of Speer Primary Care. But you can call me Janice. I have been an NP for 11+ years and in medicine since about 1993, when I started nursing school. I am the mother of a recently turned 25-year-old (I must not be good at math because that’s just not possible) son, the wife of a wonderful man, and the mom to five fur kids. Yes, Zester has feline siblings: Mr Bingley, Razzle Dazzle, Ozzy Ozbourne the Prince of Darkness, and Ezmerellda. Opening Speer Primary Care has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I feel the love from my patients every day. I often feel that I get more from them than they do from me, and I’m glad we’re in this together

Hi, my name is Cess and I am the medical receptionist for Speer Primary Care. I am the mother of two beautiful girls and fur mom of Chimmy, our beloved dog. I love to stay home and watch action movies with my kids. I work remotely and have been doing so for the past 13 years. I was a Customer Service Representative, Subject Matter Expert and Team Lead for one of the US Health Care Insurance Companies. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Now I’m taking all your phone calls, emails and texts, and doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work, helping you get what you need.

Hello, my name is Andrea, I am the billing manager for Speer Primary Care. I work remotely and live in Fredericksburg VA. I have two pre-teen boys and love spending all my time at home with them, my husband, and my corgi, Coco.

I love solving problems and helping others, I have been in healthcare billing for over 20 years! I was a practice manager in the past but recently decided to open my own medical billing and consulting company. Speer Primary Care is one of my first clients and I cannot be happier to be on this journey with Janice and all of you. Janice and I have worked together since 2012 and are the best of friends, so that makes this job special. Zester Utensil

Hello. My name is Zester Utensil and although it’s not my original name, it’s the one I love best and I won’t tell anyone what my old name was. I was living on the mean streets of San Jose California when a nice person took me in and I found my way to my mom in Virginia, where I was always meant to be. I love coming to work with mom every day (it may have something to do with the treats that I get from her patients) and I just want to be around her as much as I can. I am always up for petting and love and will sometimes even sit in your lap if you ask me to. If you don’t like me or are afraid, I will be very respectful and keep my distance, staying on my chaise lounge in mom’s office.
